Biography
Prof. Oberfeld received his PhD in economics from the University of Chicago, Before that, he was an Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
He is also a Faculty Research Fellow at the NBER and a CESifo research network affiliate.
Recent work has looked at firm-to-firm production networks, the division of income between capital and labour, and idea flows.
