How we handle your personal data

 

Event registration

We use Google Forms to collect your personal data to allow us to process your registration and we will use the contact details you provide to communicate with you about the event. We will not share your personal data with any other third party unless they are approved suppliers by the University of Cambridge.  Google privacy notice

Photography and recordings

Our events may be photographed and/or recorded. If you do not wish to be included, you can opt out by emailing the event organiser.

YouTube

Approved recordings will be added to the Faculty of Economics Youtube channel and may be shared on the following websites: Janeway Institute, Keynes Fund, Faculty of EconomicsYouTube Privacy Notice

Ongoing communication & mailing lists

We use the University’s sympa mailing lists system to collect your contact details if you sign up to receive further information about the Janeway Institute and/or the Keynes Fund. You will be able to opt out at any time.

X

We sometimes share information, videos and photographs of events via X. If you have opted in for event photography, we may share imagery of events and group photos on social media. If you wish to opt out, please let us know asap. X Privacy Notice

Zoom

We use Zoom to host some of our online events. It is a third party service which not operated by the University of Cambridge. We will use data relating to event participation on Zoom for statistical purposes and it may be kept securely for up to five years. Zoom Privacy Statement

Working papers and published papers

If you submit a working paper to the Janeway Institute Working Paper Series, you agree to it appearing on the following websites: Faculty of Economics, Janeway Institute and Keynes Fund as a working paper. You also agree to it being posted on the following social media: Faculty and Janeway Institute X plus Faculty, Janeway Institute and Keynes Fund LinkedIn.

Visitors

We have received consent for information which we may share about Janeway Institute visitors online. If you wish to opt out, please let us know.
