Her research primarily focuses on macro-development, with a special emphasis on the impact of technological change on productivity and labor markets. Her work has been published in top general interest journals such as the American Economic Review and the Quarterly Journal of Economics.
Biography
Julieta Caunedo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Cornell University, and an associated researcher at CEPR, J-PAL, Y-RISE and ATAI. She also serves as a leader for the Agricultural and Sectoral Gaps Theme at STEG. She has previously held assistant professor positions at the University of Toronto and Cornell University. Caunedo, originally from Argentina, graduated with a PhD in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
