Biography

Paul Bouscasse was the Centre for Macroeconomics & Janeway Institute Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge from 2022-23. He then joined the Department of Economics at Sciences Po as an Assistant Professor (tenure track) in 2023.

He received a PhD in Economics from Columbia University in 2022 and holds a Master in Analysis and Policy in Economics from Ă‰cole Polytechnique and the Paris School of Economics and a Master in Management from HEC Paris.

His research lies at the intersection of macroeconomics, international finance, and economic history and he has worked on currency devaluations, the beginning of modern economic growth, and interactions between monetary and fiscal policies.
