The Janeway Institute, the El-Erian Institute and the Bennett Institute hosted an Early Career Researchers Workshop with Professor Cass R. Sunstein. 

The event was held in the Bowett Room, Queens’ College, University of Cambridge on 9th December 2022. 

The aim was to offer a platform for Early Career Researchers affiliated with the three host institutes as well as other departments and platforms across Cambridge that share an interest in the fields of behavioural economics, decision-making, public policy, sustainable development, and related fields.

14:45 – 15:15 Keynote by Professor Cass R Sunstein: ‘Belief Updating’

Professor Sunstein is the Robert Walmsley Professor at Harvard and is the founder and director of the Program on Behavioural Economics and Public Policy at Harvard Law School. His scholarly interests and research focus on behavioural public policy, environmental issues, climate change, and public health. He has served in senior advisory positions under Presidents Obama and Biden and is considered as one of the most cited legal scholars worldwide.
