Jeanne Commault is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Sciences Po and studies how households' consumption responds to earning shocks, in particular persistent ones. Her work combines empirical, analytical and quantitative tools to offer new insights into this long-standing macroeconomic question. This matters for the design of policies aiming at stabilizing output or reducing inequality.
We were delighted to welcome her to present her paper 'Heterogeneity in MPC Beyond Liquid Wealth: The Role of Persistent Earnings' at our Macro-JI Seminar.
